Scott T Kamin
Respected for his innovative strategies, Mr. Kamin practices criminal law both at the trial and appellate levels. He tries cases at 2650 S. California and the Dirksen Federal Building; he appeals cases before the Seventh Circuit and the Illinois Appellate Courts. In addition to helping people accused of crimes, Mr. Kamin handles cases involving police brutality and wrongful conviction.
Coexisting with his private practice are Mr. Kamin's pro bono activities. He serves on the Board of Directors of First Defense Legal Aid (FDLA), the Young Professional's Board of the Coordinated Advice and Referral Program for Legal Services (CARPLS), the Seventh Circuit Panel of Appointed Attorneys, and the Board of Directors of Comite Exigimos Justicia.
